Hello, we are not authorized Montblanc delaers and cannot provide the manufacturer warranty, however if you pay for service they can indeed help you. You just tell them that you received the pen as a gift and don't know where it was purchased from. If you tell them it was purchased from anyone who is not an authorized dealer they will generally refuse service because they would prefer for customers to all pay full-price directly from them.
